RULES AND REGULATIONS OF NOIDA
MANAGAEMENT ASSOCIATION |

DEFINITIONS : |
|
|

All
the provisions of the Societies Registration Act. 1860, as
amended upto date and applicable to State of
Uttar Pradesh
will be applicable to this society. In the Rules and
Regulations, the following, words and expressions shall
have the following meaning, unless repugnant to the subject
or context: |
|
|
|
|
“Act” shall mean the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
|
|
|
|
|
“The Association” shall mean the NOIDA MANAGEMENT
ASSOCIATION.
|
|
|
|
|
“The Committee” shall mean the Executive Committee of the
Association. |
|
|
|
|
“Financial Year” shall mean the year commencing on:-1st
April and ending on 31st March.
|
|
|
|
|
“AIMA” shall mean the All India Management Association.
|
|
|
|
|
“AIMA Council” shall mean the council of Management of
the All India. |
|
|
|
|
"regional council
(s)" shall mean the Regional Council (s) of the All India
Management Association |
|
|
|
|
“LMA” shall mean Local Management Association. |
|
|
|
|
“Electoral College” shall mean and include all the category
of members who are eligible to vote under these rules for
different purposes.

Words importing the singular number including the plural and
vice versa, and those importing the masculine shall the
feminine gender.

MEMBERSHIPS: |
|
|
|
|
Membership of the Association shall be open to private/
public, Government, Corporate, Companies, Firms,
Association, Institutions, Organizations, Corporations and
Individuals interested in furthering the objectives of the
Association. The Association shall have the following types
of memberships:- |
|
|
|

PATRON MEMBERS: |
|
|
|
|
All firms, companies, institutes organizations and
corporations eligible for organizational membership under
Clause 3.1.2 of these Rules and all persons eligible for
professional Membership under Clause 3.1.3 of these Rules
shall be eligible for enrolment as patron Member on the
payment of prescribed fee which may be revised from time to
time. Such organization shall have the right to nominate
their representative to caste votes for the election of
Executive Committee members. They shall also have the right
to contest elections of office bearer and member of the
committee. The Patron Member shall be eligible to nominate
one of their members free of cost in any paid programme of
NMA. |

ORGANISATION MEMBERSHIP |
|
|
|
|
All firms, companies, organizations, institutions and
corporations which subscribe to the objectives of the
Association shall be eligible for enrolment for Organisation
Membership on payment of prescribed fee. Such organization
shall have the right to nominate their representative to
caste vote in the election of Executive Members. They shall
also be eligible to nominate any one of their
representatives to contest elections of the executive
committee.

3(a) |
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERS: |
|
|
|
|
Professional Members who have attained the age of 21 years
and who have been engaged in the profession of management
for at least 2 years. They should possess a degree or
diploma in management from a recognized university or
institution or have undergone a junior management training
within the organization or have participated in a young
Manager’s Development Course or an extended functional
management course conducted by a recognized body. Those who
are engaged in management teaching and/ or research, junior
officers in management or trade associations, chambers of
commerce and Private/ public or in Government of India
service and or State Government Services are eligible
provided they are graduates and possess minimum of two
years experience in management or any other professional
attainments. |

JUNIOR MEMBER |
|
|
|
|
Any individual engaged in or having an interest in
management but who is not eligible to become professional
member as defined in item 3.1.3(a) could be enrolled as a
member with the specific approval of the Executive
Committee. However the Executive Committee will have the
power to relax any of the conditions. |
|
|

STUDENT MEMBERS |
|
|
|
|
Those are pursing management studies in a University or a
recognized Institution shall be eligible for Student
Membership (Application for Student Membership shall be
sponsored by the University/Institution in which the
candidate is enrolled as a student). No such member shall
remain a Student Member after reaching the age of 25 years
or on completion of the professional course, which ever is
earlier.

LIFE MEMBERS |
|
|
|
|
Any firm, company, Organization, Corporation, Trust,
Institution or Individual shall be eligible for enrollment
as Life Member of the Association on payment of such
amount as may be determined by the Committee from time to
time. |

COMBINED AIMA-NMA ORGANISATION MEMBERS: |
|
|
|
|
All Firms, Companies, Organizations, Corporations,
enrolled through AIMA shall be eligible to become Combined
AIMA-NMA Organization Member, on payment of admission fee
and annual subscription in accordance with AIMA Rules. |
|
|

COMBINED AIMA-NMA PROFESSIONAL INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS
|
|
|
|
|
The admission fee and annual subscription for the four
categories of combined professional Individual Members
payable through AIMA shall not be less than 50 present of
the amount for admission fee and annual subscription as
may be fixed by the All India Management Association from
time to time. |
|
|

HONORARY MEMBERS |
|
|
|
|
Individuals who have rendered outstanding services in the
field of management may be elected by the Committee to
the Honorary Membership of the Association. The member so
elected shall have no liability to pay admission fee and
annual subscription. |
|
|

CO-OPTED MEMBERS |
|
|
|
|
Any individual or organization or a government or
semi-government body, concerned with one or more aspects of
management, may be invited by the Committee to become a
Co-opted Member for such period as may be decided without
liability to pay admission fee and annual subscription,
provided however, that the member so invited shall have no
right to vote.

Members shall be by application as may be prescribed by the
Committee from time to time. |

|
A Patron Member shall pay an annual subscription of
Rs.7,500/- |

LIFE MEMBER |

|
|
|
a life member shall pay one time payment of fee which is
equivalent to ten times of the normal fee being charged from
the Professional Member as given in rule 3.1.3 |

ORGANISATION MEMBER |

|
|
An Organization member shall pay admission fee and annual
subscription at the following rates: |

PROFESSIONAL MEMBER |
|

|
A professional member shall pay an admission fee Rs.100/-
and yearly subscription of Rs.400/- .The admission fee may
be waived by the Committee in case an applicant is a member
of any LMA (Local Management Association) of another place
and applied for membership of the NMA within six months of
his arrival in NOIDA.

JUNIOR MEMBER |
|
|
|
|
Admission fee & yearly Annual subscription would be half of
professional member i.e. Rs.50/- & Rs.200/- respectively. |

STUDENT MEMBERS |
|
|
|
|
A Student member shall pay an yearly subscription of
Rs.100/- , but there shall be no admission fee for student
membership. |
|
|
|
|
Note: The Executive Committee of NMA is authorized to
revise the aforesaid fees from time to time but not the fee
of combined AIMA-NMA Membership. |
|
|

COMBINED AIMA – NMA ORGANISATION MEMBERS |
|
|
|
|
The admission fee and annual subscription for combined
AIMA-NMA Organization Members shall not be less than the
rates applicable for the different categories of
Organisation Member of the Association. |
|
|

COMBINED AIMA – NMA PROFESSIONAL INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS:
|
|
|
|
|
The admission fee and annual subscription for categories of
combined professional Individual Member payable through
AIMA shall not be less than 50% of the amount for
Admission as ma be fixed by the All India Management
Association from time to time. |
|
|

AIMA
MEMBERSHIP: |
|
|
|
|
The
Association shall be or become a member of the all India
Management Association and shall comply with the
requirements and condition as laid down in AIMA Rules in
this regard.

COUNCIL

8.0 |

RESIGNATION, TERMINATION AND RE-ADMISSION
|
|
|
|
|
A member of the Association shall cease to be a member and
his name shall be removed by the Executive Committee from
the list of members in any one of the following cases: |
|
|

On the member’s submitting his resignation from membership
in writing and his resignation being accepted
by the Executive Committee |
|
|
8.0 |
2 |
On the member’s failure to pay subscription which has been
in arrears for two financial years. |
|
|
8.0 |
3 |
The membership of any member can be terminated on the
recommendation of the Executive Committee to
be passed in a general body meeting by a majority
of not less than tow-third of the members present
on the ground that his membership is prejudicial
to the interests of the Association. |
|
|

4 |
In
case any individual member has been adjudicated
bankrupt or convicted of felony or any other
criminal
offence or if any organization member has gone into
liquidation, the committee may decide that the register of
the membership of Association and the
Secretariat shall communicate such decision to the
member. |
|
|

Any member
who for any reason, ceases to be a member, shall
nevertheless remain liable for and shall
pay to the Association all moneys which at the
time of cessation of membership, may be due from such
member to the Association. |
|
|

6 |
A member,
whose membership has been terminated during any year,
shall not be entitled to any rebate of
membership subscription paid or payable
for that year irrespective of the date on
which his membership is terminated. |
|
|

7 |
A member, whose membership has been terminated, may be
readmitted by the committee on such terms and conditions
as the committee may decide from time to time including
payment of all arrears. |
|
|
9.0 |
|
TRANSFER OF MEMBERSHIP:
In order to maintain continuity of membership, activities,
fees, etc, a transfer or change of assignment in the case
of individual members or change or registered office in case
of institutional members from one city to another, their
membership may be transferred to the LMA in or near the city
of their transfer/change by mutual consent of both the LMAs.

THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE: |

|
The committee shall have 16 elected members as under:- |

Industries, (The Industries shall mean and include
Organizations, Private, Public, Joint, Governmental and
Co-operative sectors which are engaged in the manufacturing
activities or services activities. This shall also include

In case there are not sufficient nomination representing

Executive Committee

Each and every Executive Committee Member is to contribute
their best in organizing different activities of the
Association. All the Members are expected to attend all
executive committee meetings regularly. If any member fails
to attend continuously three executive committee
meetings the executive committee may decide if such a member
be allowed to continue or not in the membership of
executive committee.

ELECTION
OR EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE: |

|
The election of the member of the Committee not exceeding
sixteen shall be through secret ballot which shall be
conducted in accordance to the rules as framed from time
to time. |

ELEGILITY
FOR EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS |
|
|
|
|
Only such persons shall be eligible for election on the
Executive Committee who possesses the followings
qualifications: |

Patron/ Life / Professional and AIMA –NMA individual members
have put in minimum six months time, after the
membership is approved by the Executive committee. The
organizations shall have the right to nominate their
representative in writing. |

The member has cleared all dues 15 days prior to filing
nomination |
|
|
|
2.3 |
The member is willing to devote time for Association work. |
|
|
|
2.4 |
A Member is not holding any regular paid assignment in NMA.
